Swaziland Airlink, the ‘Kingdom’s Airline’, recently announced its new flight schedule further improving accessibility to and from Swaziland. The airline currently provides frequent and convenient daily return flights from Manzini (MTS) to Johannesburg (JNB).
Effective 2 June 2008, due to increased business traveler demand, Swaziland Airlink in conjunction with its partner, Airlink, will be increasing capacity on its direct flights between Johannesburg and Manzini.
Currently the airline provides up to 5 daily return flights Monday to Friday with 4 on Saturdays and Sundays. Flights operate with 37 seat ERJ 135’s and 29 seat J41 aircraft. The late afternoon flight will now be operated by 83 seat BAE 146-RJ85 to meet increased business travel demand as well as providing for passengers connecting onto evening international departures. This late afternoon flight will depart Johannesburg at 16h20 arriving in Manzini at 17h15 and return from Manzini at 17h45 to arrive in Johannesburg at 18h45.
