airlink introduces additional flights to madagascar
Effective from 20 January 2009, Airlink has introduced an additional Tuesday flight between Johannesburg and Antananarivo, Madagascar in its flight schedule.
Airlink currently operates 5 flights per week to Antananarivo on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays using their 83 seater, Avro RJ85 aircraft. The introduction of the additional service is in response to traveler demand and will provide business travelers from both South Africa and Madagascar with a wider choice of departure days, allowing more flexibility in their travel schedules.
Airlink operates this route in code share with Air Madagascar, providing travelers with onward connections to other destinations within Madagascar. Airlink’s flights are also timed to provide same-day connections to SAA’s and other Star Alliance member’s flights within the global network.
