airlink withdraws from harare monday & thursday

june 2007

AIRLINK, regrets to announce that as from 25 June, it will not longer operate the direct scheduled service on Mondays and Thursdays.

It is not our intention to frustrate our clients or the trade but with the current limitations of the fleet we are not providing a service and adding value to this market by operating three flights per week, therefore, we have taken the decision to pull these flights for now, but we will continue operating the flight on Sundays as we have capacity to do so.

We committed to a same day return service between Johannesburg and Lusaka, the flights are well supported by the trade and our clients and it is our intention to offer the same daily service to Harare with the next seasonal timetable change, utilizing ERJ135 jet equipment.
