airlink introduces new flight schedules
Airlink launched its new route between Bloemfontein (BFN) and George (GRJ) on 4th May 2007 operated by 29 seater Jetstream 41’s. The launch flight schedule initially offers flights once a week, departing Fridays and Sundays, providing the community in the Free State with a new access to the Garden Route. The schedule is specifically designed to accommodate travellers who wish to visit their holiday homes or take up their timeshare in the Plett and George area, it also caters for small business and conferences taking place at Fancourt.

Airlink at the same time also added extra capacity between Port Elizabeth (PLZ) and Bloemfontein (BFN) departing Fridays and Sundays, also using the 29 seater Jetstream 41. This is a successful business route which Airlink has been operating for some time. Airlink increased the frequency in response to traveller demand.

Following the success of these additional flights, Airlink will also, from 23 July 2007, further increase its Elizabeth (PLZ) and Bloemfontein (BFN) service with the introduction of a Monday flight.
