durban airport update
JOHANNESBURG - Airlink would like to advise our passengers on the cutover date from the existing Durban airport to the new Durban airport. Airlines have received confirmation that the date has been finalized for the 01 May 2010.
All Airlink flights up until and including the 30 April 2010 will land at the existing Durban airport. All Airlink flights will officially operate from the new Durban airport (King Shaka International Airport) from 01 May 2010.
The new airport is approximately 65 km’s from the current airport, so it is vital that all passengers are aware of the cutover on 01 May 2010. We are confident the date will not change but Airlink urges all passengers to confirm this should they be traveling close to the change over date.
